Good American Foundation is a non-profit charity launched in 2009 to provide funding for organizations that provide food, shelter and other basic needs to Americans. Most specifically: homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food banks, disaster response organizations, children orphanages, and also fundraise for international charity organizations.

Why Help?

Government help is not enough to eradicate hunger or poverty. Private Citizens and charities like Good American Foundation will be the engine to end hunger and poverty. We agree with the FOA (Food & Agriculture Organization) when it says, “Governments must do their part - but they can't eradicate hunger on their own. It will take the efforts of...organizations…and you…to make a difference.” Please join Good American Foundation to make it happen.

A Note from Our Founder...

The idea to help others was inspired by the dedication of my maternal grandmother, Aminata B. She was a kind person who gave to others and devoted her life for that cause. “The plan I hoped to realize had been in my mind for some time…” said Albert Schweitzer and “I could not help but think continually of others…” like Albert Schweitzer; this idea of helping people had been with me for a long time. Now, my dream can be realized through the Good American Foundation; a foundation dedicated to charities helping people by providing food, shelter, and other basic needs. Let’s "keep hope alive,” to millions who need help!
